Monday, August 31th at 9:30 am.

Join us in a conversation about public health and reopening childcare safely. There is much to consider, from the health of the families being served to the needs of employees, the economics of running a center, and creating a quality environment for children.

These needs often compete and sometimes contradict each other. As we consider the best path forward for helping parents return to work and also creating a caring educational space for young children, we need expert advice to guide the way.

Monday, August 24th at 9:30 am, we will speak with guest, Nathaniel Raymond about public health and reopening childcare safely. Nathaniel is a lecturer at Yale University’s Jackson Institute, where he teaches the practice of international disaster response. He led the Yale Emergency Support - New Haven (YES New Haven) effort to support the city of New Haven’s COVID response. Raymond has over 20 years experience as a humanitarian aid worker responding to natural, public health and manmade disasters. He has served as an advisor to multiple UN, governmental, and non-governmental agencies. Raymond is currently an affiliated expert in disaster response at the US Naval War College.
